I have had enough! I have had enough of watching miserable, one sided news.
No matter what side of the political spectrum you fall on, the mainstream news is depressing. We are spoon fed that this is because life is depressing, that the world is a terrible sad place of war and misery and we should fear it.
I have never bought this. I see good all the time and I actually believe we are inherently good, that we just want to connect with people and make sense of it all together.
When you wake up in the morning, the first 20 minutes of your day are the most impressionable minutes of your day. Get them wrong and you’re going to feel rubbish all day, get them right and you’ll soar.
What are you currently doing with that time? Do you wake up and switch on the news? Scroll through Facebook, reading negative an moaning status updates?
Lets change that today!
Things you could do instead:
1: Say some positive affirmations (O.K, O.K, I know I’m a hippy, but they really work)
“Today is a good day”
“I am calm and confident”
“I embrace the challenges in my life”
“I am strong and capable”
“I attract opportunity’
-Make your own and share them with me.
2: Listen to some music and have a dance and a sing Its a brand new day
3: List 10 reasons why you should feel grateful about your life.
