Hi guys, please click HERE to read an article about me and my family. It was an EXTREMELY vulnerable and honest interview and I hop that came across.
This was in conjunction with The Brain Tumour Charity and they made it very easy and have supported me during the last week.
To those very few negative comments, let me clarify:
-Regardless of the politics of it being in the Daily Mail, this was the best way to promote The charities work and get the story out quickly to a big audience.
-Although the headline discusses telling my children, I am not a moron, they are not adults, they have been told mini bites of what is going on, they only need to know so much. Children live in the now. I respect my children enough to talk to them though, they have their own questions and fears and hiding everything from them would be just as wrong.
-I am not promoting myself. The reason my previous acting roles are discussed is, as shallow as this sounds, it generates more interest. thats not on me, thats on us as a society. The important thing is the message and making sure research is done into brain cancer, and early signs are known.
Love to all that have sent me messages, cards, gifts and love. You are fabulous human beings.
